He became a featured attraction on the syndicated Showtime at the Apollo in 1988 and eventually landed a deal with Geffen. His 1989 LP Introducing...David Peaston was among that year's hottest and most soulful releases, and he also toured with Gladys Knight in America and Gerald Alston in England. Wednesday’s Special Guest Zoser Up & Coming Rapper from the South Side of Chicago

Zoser

Big risk, big reward, That’s Zoser’s motto. And the college grad who left his corporate position in a downtown Chicago office to pursue his dreams has definitely taken it to heart. Calling himself the “illest MC with a business degree,” Zo is distinguishable by his smooth but raspy voice and pen full of innovative concepts. Knowing that the worst thing that could happen is being forced back into the rat race, Zoser decided to leave his job and finance his own recording and promotion. He recording a full length album, Day 3: The Science, in a Chicago studio and released it on iTunes and in select stores in the Midwest.

Day 3: The Science, originally released on May 5th, 2009 on iTunes and in select Midwest record stores, is the third series of a seven album series title 1 Day At A Time. The concept for the title of the new album stems from the book The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles. “After reading the book it made me realize that I could do anything that I want to do as long as I know that things will eventually come, and have faith that they will work out. The book taught me to just take things one day at a time as far as my career goes,” said Zoser, “and so I took the creation of this album one day at a time.”

Spread the word you will really be inspired, impressed by this outstanding artist vision, desire, dedication, and encouragement. Zoser’s music well let’s just say he’s good, so mark your calendar and be sure to stop by. Next Event: October 27 2009 11:00 PM Bourbon Street Party, FAMU Homecoming
